The Language of Herbal Energetics

Wednesday, February 11th | $15 | 6:30-8pm | Virtual + In-Person at The Elderberry + Recorded

Through the lens of Western Herbalism, our bodies and the plants speak to us in a language all their own. Patterns of imbalance in the body can be qualitatively described through the spectra of tissue states. Plants can be studied via several categories, from energetics to actions to affinities. It appears magical, and it is. But it’s also deeply practical, and we can show you how and why.

If you have recently opened an herb book and felt mystified by the concept of “damp stagnation” or the apparent word salad of “styptic, vulnerary, blood amphoteric,” or what a “nervous system tonic” even is, please join Meg and Sydney as we break down and elucidate the metaphorical language and concepts we utilize in our herbal practices every day.

In this class, we will define and explain the concepts of energetics, tissue states, herbal actions, and a little about plant constituents, as understood by our herbal discipline of Western Energetic Herbalism.

This class is FREE for Herb of the Month Club members to attend VIRTUALLY.

This class is FREE to attend IN-PERSON OR VIRTUALLY when you purchase Herbalism 101: Cardiovascular System.

If you’ve purchased a previous round of Herbalism 101, you have FREE VIRTUAL access to this class.
