A Day-Long Experience to Allow the Plants to Nourish and Support you During Seasons of Change
Release and Restore
At Herbal Day Camp, we invite you to mirror the energy of each season and remember that you are a part of nature. Late October is the beginning of Scorpio season, a time when the plants are beginning to recede and shed their leaves, and an invitation to release, cleanse, and make room for the transformation that wants to move through you.
We’ll be exploring the elemental (water, wind), energetic (grief, digestion, release), and plant (root medicines, digestive tonics) correspondences of the season of Autumn.
October 28th we come together at Bridge Between the Worlds in Keswick, VA to commune with the plants and with each other. We will experience how the energy of the Fall season wants to move through each of us with the help of plants allies.
Ceremony
We will have an opening and closing ceremony to drop into the space and offer gratitude for the land and all its inhabitants. We will give ourselves the time and space to move at our own pace while remembering the sacredness of ceremony.
Smoke Medicine
What happens when you burn white sage or palo santo? How and why should you smudge and work with these aromatic plants? You’ll get our take on all of this and more as you explore smoke medicine and create your own smudge bundle.
Nourishing Autumn Lunch
We’ll be serving herb-inspired fare appropriate for the season while exploring the best ways to support digestion as we head into Fall.
Fall Health Workshop
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Metal element corresponds with the season of Autumn as well as the lungs and large intestine. In this workshop, we’ll learn why now is an excellent time to give a little love to your digestive and respiratory systems and how to support these systems physically and energetically.
Plant Journey
We’ll be leading a plant journey to allow you to drop into, listen for, and discover for yourself the unique medicine of different medicinal plants.

For this immersive event, we ask that you join us for the entire day. We are not offering half-day passes.

Kids 14 - 17 are welcome with a parent or guardian.

Bring a yoga mat, a cushion, a blanket, and anything you’ll need to make yourself comfortable and cozy inside. Bring sunscreen, bug spray, sun hat, walking shoes, and anything else you need to feel comfortable outside.
Bring a covered vessel for tea.
You might want a notebook to capture those little “Aha!” moments
Optional: Bring something to add to the altar, either something that will stay on the altar, or something that will live there temporarily for the day.

If you can no longer join us, please email us as soon as you can. Please note that we are not offering full refunds for this event. If you cancel by October 25th at 11:59pm, we will refund you half of your event ticket price. If you cancel October 26th or later, we are unable to refund you, but you are welcome to give your spot to someone else.

Yes, we will provide materials for the medicine making workshops. You’ll go home with a smudge bundle and a flower essence to enjoy :)
