These tasty nut butter balls are an easy way to get your herbs in! While this recipe is focused on Ashwagandha, we often make it with Ashwagandha along with Eleuthero, Astragalus, and Shatavari by evenly dividing up the 4 ounces of powder. This combination of adaptogenic herbs boosts immune, brightens the mind, moistens dryness and helps one be more resilient to stress.
Serving Size: 1 tablespoon/day (may divide into teaspoons and take 1 teaspoon daily, then increase up to 1 tablespoon/day)
- Place almond butter, ghee and honey together in a bowl and stir well.
- Add Ashwagandha powder and spices. Mix well.
- Drop by tablespoonfuls of the paste onto waxed paper and roll into balls. Place in container and store in the refrigerator. May also scoop paste into a container and store in refrigerator. Scoop out a teaspoon or tablespoon at a time as needed.
- If you want, you may roll the balls into either maca powder, shredded coconut or cacao powder to coat and keep them from sticking to one another. Plus, they add a little extra zip to the blend!
